November is Alzheimer's Disease and Brain Awareness Month. The Alzheimer's Association has a variety of resources for families living with this disease, including support groups and a 24/7 Help Line: 800-272-3900. We will have a special report on Alzheimer's each show this month.

The Seattle Cancer Care Alliance (SCCA) is starting clinical trials to investigate whether automated whole breast ultrasound can improve detection of cancer in breast cancer screening when used as a supplement to mammography or as a supplement to 3D digital breast tomosynthesis.
